Sooooo, incredibly funny and ironic that today (the day I decided to blog about Mr. Phoenix) is the same day that a parent of (one set) of twins in my classroom was writing limericks in their communication journal. Why is this so funny? Mr. Phoenix loves to write limericks!
There once was a old, boring teacher named Lomas,
Whose daily teaching put all her students in comas.
They slept all day,
Passing the time away,
And none of them got their diplomas.
